Event Date: Sunday 13th September 2022, Remembrance Sunday.
We are pleased to be back! Information about any adjustments to meet Government guidelines will be posted on this page in the run-up to the event.
Registration from 07:30am for the ‘Long’ event and 08:30am for everyone else. Start 08:30am – 09:00am on the Long, and the 1 and 2 hour events have a start window of 08:30 – 09:45, so no mass start.
Details: Long, Short, Trail, MINI TRAIL and MTBO Adventure Events. Enter as a Pairs or Solo in the Adventure Multi Discipline Events.
Time: Registration opens from 07:30am, event start window from 08:30am.

Test your navigation and strategy with this off-road adventure. Using a 1:25,000 OS map which we provide, navigate trails and hills on foot and bike to collect as many check points as you can in the set time. New to Adventure Racing? Watch this short informative clip.
Bike Hire: We currently are not offering bike hire.
Pricing Structure with ‘Early Bird’
Long Event £45, £50 OTD – 4 hours, navigate to as many checkpoints as possible within the time. Starting on foot or bike from 08:30am, there will be one transition allowed. Enter more than 2 weeks before and pay £40.
Short Event – £30, £35 OTD – 2 hours, navigate to as many checkpoints as possible within the time. Starting on foot, there will be one transition to Mountain Bikes. Enter more than 2 weeks before and pay £25.
Trail Adventure Event – £30, £35 OTD – 2 hour Trail Run only, navigate to as many checkpoints as possible within the time. Enter more than 2 weeks before and pay £25.
Mini Trail Adventure Event – £20, £23 OTD – 1 hour Trail Run only, navigate to as many checkpoints as possible within the time. Enter more than 2 weeks before and pay £15.
MTBO Adventure Event – £30, £35 OTD – 2 hours, ride your mountain bike and navigate to as many checkpoints as possible within the time. Enter more than 2 weeks before and pay £25.

The event
- Visit the registration desk to collect your Event Pack with your map and SPORTident dibber.
- Ensure you allow enough time to register.
- Have a read through event rules here.
- Starts from 08:30am, with just one transition allowed on to the mountain bike.
- 4 hour ‘Long’ competitors can start from 08:30am and must start by 09:00am.
- All 1 and 2 hour events are allowed to start from 08:30 – 10:00 am.
- Using your map to navigate to as many checkpoints and cover as much distance as you can within the time limit.
- There will be a number of checkpoints to collect in any order set over a course.
- For Long and Short events, competitors must collect a minimum of one run and one bike checkpoint to qualify.
- Checkpoint values will each be worth 10 points.
- Competitors will incur a penalty of 1 point per 30 seconds they are late back.
After the event, download your dibber at the registration desk, collect your result print out.
